Great place!

I loved this place! Yoshi was friendly helpful and very responsive even though he wasn't even in the country. Yuri was there to greet us and show us around, and she was great as well! Place is just as described. Common rooms are open air so you hear the ocean waves all day. AC worked great in the bedrooms. The beautiful black sand beach is just steps across street. There's an out side shower to rinse before coming inside, but the master suite outdoor shower is amazing! There's a nice little restaurant and store within walking distance. The house is private and gated. I felt safe, and comfortable. I loved the vibe of the little downtown area in Puerto Viejo , and we found this area to have best food! I can't wait to plan my return! I'd definitely stay here again.

Unfortunately, Yoshua was away in Indonesia during our visit. Still, even with the time difference he was very responsive to any questions we had.He introduced us to Yuri and she did a wonderful job checking us in and taking care of any needs we had.The beach is just across the road and takes about 3 min to have your feet wet, in the sand.Great location and very private with all the beautiful tropical trees and plants surrounding the property. The upstairs terrace is the perfect place to enjoy a glass of wine and listen to the ocean waves.Due to the open layout of the terrace and the main downstairs areas, only the bedrooms have air conditioning. The bedrooms were slways nice and cool. The ceiling fans always kept the open areas comfortable, enough to sleep outside and at least for our stay, there were no mosquitos of other bothersome insects.

Nos hospedamos en familia este fin de semana y fue una experiencia excelente. El lugar tiene un acceso súper fácil a la playa, lo cual fue ideal para nosotros. Todo estaba muy aseado y en perfectas condiciones, y las instalaciones son bonitas, cómodas y acogedoras. Realmente disfrutamos la estadía y sin duda nos encantaría volver. Lo recomiendo al 100% a cualquiera que busque un sitio tranquilo, limpio y cerca del mar. ¡Gracias por todo!

Yoshi’s home is amazing but I can’t speak highly enough of him as a host. He gave phenomenal recommendations prior to arrival and he was extremely responsive to all of my inquiries while we were there. The location is perfect, the beach is so quiet and picturesque, I truly wasn’t ready to leave. I would stay in this exact home again and again.
